The United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of high school and college soccer teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full school year.
The High School Team Academic Award is bestowed upon teams led by active United Soccer Coaches members with a composite grade point average of 3.25 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster.
At the high school level, 312 teams (134 boys, 178 girls) were honored with the Team Academic Award, including 29 schools earning recognition for both their boys’ and girls’ programs. The Girls Soccer Program was once again among those Top Performing teams academically.
